The myofascial tension release system is an often overlooked but crucial part of our body. When the myofascial becomes tense or contracted, it can lead to discomfort, pain, and a limited range of motion. In this session, the teacher will instruct and guide you throughout the entire process.
During this session, we will focus on using props such as blocks, straps, and bolsters to support the body in various postures that target the myofascial. By bringing awareness to these areas, we can release tension and encourage relaxation. Additionally, we will use specific breathing techniques to deepen our awareness and relaxation.
This practice can help us to identify patterns of tension that we may not have been aware of, and release them. As a result, we may experience improved flexibility, decreased pain and discomfort, and an overall sense of well-being. Ultimately, this session is designed to empower our clients to take control of their own physical and emotional health, by providing them with tools to release and transform tension in their bodies.
In this session, we will guide you towards a state of total relaxation on a physical level, allowing you to release tension from your muscles and joints, and enabling your body to let go of any stress or discomfort it may be holding onto. As a result, you may experience a sense of lightness and ease in your body, and an increased ability to move freely and comfortably.
We will also focus on calming the nervous system, which can help to alleviate anxiety and promote a sense of peace and well-being. Through the use of gentle movements, breath work, and mindfulness techniques, we will help you to quiet your mind and find a sense of stillness within.
In addition to physical relaxation and mental calm, our practice will also facilitate the release of emotional tension that may be held in the tissues of the body. This process can allow you to transform and transcend any negative emotions, creating a sense of spaciousness and freedom on every level.
